Oceans cover over 70% of the Earth’s surface, act as the world’s largest carbon sink, and house an estimated 50-80% of all life on Earth. Yet, they are under threat – a silent crisis overshadowed by other global concerns. Each year, up to 14 million tons of plastic are estimated to be dumped into our oceans, with millions of marine animals falling victim to plastic pollution.
